Update: I'm still a student at Bowdoin College, but this semester I'm studying in Grenoble, France. I have to say it is a bit different than Kenya, although my host family does have chickens (and ducks), so that's comforting! Thanks for reading!
I'm a student at Bowdoin College, and I'm spending two months in Kenya this summer with the help of Bowdoin's Preston Public Interest Career Fund. I'll be interning for SOTENI, an organization dedicated to curbing the spread and effects of HIV/AIDS in Africa, especially among children. I'll be spending time in Nairobi, as well as traveling to different villages to work on various projects. I hope to share my experiences through posts here.
